Strawbelicious Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Whole Strawberries
  • 1/2 cup Strawberry Jam
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Directions

Thaw the BGAN Frozen strawberries: Remove the strawberries from the freezer and let them thaw at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes, or you can also microwave them for a few seconds until they are slightly softened.

Blend the strawberries: Place the thawed strawberries, BGAN strawberry jam, water, and sugar into a blender or food processor. Blend until you have a smooth puree.

Add citrus flavors: Pour the pureed mixture into a large bowl and add the orange juice, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.

Chill the soup: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate the soup for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and for it to become nicely chilled.

Serve: Before serving, give the strawberry soup a good stir to make sure everything is well mixed. Pour it into individual serving bowls or glasses. You can garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
